This week we had the pleasure of launching the LIFE AREC Reno project in Paris – and what a way to start! Huge thanks to Romain Maire and Pierre-Antoine Duffrene for curating engaging sessions that helped us dive into the project’s mission from day one.
AREC (Agro Reno Empower Collective) brings together an ambitious consortium from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and Ireland. We’re joining forces to unlock large-scale district-level renovations by combining demand aggregation, bio-based materials, SME collaboration, and a strong push for workforce inclusivity and gamified engagement.
The energy in the room this week made it clear: this group is ready to lead the charge in making deep renovation faster, more attractive, and aligned with EU climate goals.
We’re excited to work alongside fantastic partners like DEPACT, Ressorts, Energiesprong Global Alliance, Bureau Door, Dorémi, Sonergia, EDERA, Gideon, The 2B Collective, Community Land Trust Brussels, and Kore Retrofit. And of course, we topped it all off with some incredible Italian cuisine – served the French way.
