Kirchheim unter Teck picks up the pace in the heat transition

The municipal administration of Kirchheim unter Teck is now officially launching as the sixth bundling campaign for heat pumps – also open to citizens from surrounding municipalities.

The launch could hardly have been better:

As part of the Heizen.Sanieren.Wohnen fair, the presentation of the bundling campaign followed directly on from an inspiring talk by the well-known Carsten Herbert, ‘The Energy Saving Commissioner’, on the subject of heat pumps. Around 200 listeners filled the lecture hall.

In addition, numerous other visitors took the opportunity to inform themselves at the information stands during the presentations and at other times during the fair. Numerous regional players were represented at the two-day fair, including heating installers, energy consultants, the Baden-Württemberg Consumer Advice Centre and the Esslingen District Climate Protection Agency. A strong network for strong implementation.

The fair was opened by Mayor Dr Pascal Bader, who remained present until the end of the day.

Dr Beate Arman (climate protection manager) and Jessica Hörmann (renovation manager) confidently guided the audience through the programme of presentations – their commitment was a decisive factor in getting the bundling campaign off the ground in Kirchheim.

📈 And the start is promising: there is already a great deal of interest.
No wonder – because it’s worth getting involved!

The campaign is part of the EU-funded LIFE Street HP Reno project and builds on the interest shown by hundreds of people from previous pilot municipalities in Germany. Florian Bonert (ShiftUp) and Philipp Zimmermann (Initiative Wohnungswirtschaft Osteuropa (IWO) e.V.) were on site to present the bundling campaign.
