This week, the partners of the LIFE AREC Reno project gathered in Dublin for our second consortium meeting. This project is taking demand aggregation for energy-efficient renovation to the next level.
Over two productive days, we shared progress from across Europe, visited local retrofit projects, and exchanged ideas with the partners of LIFE Circular Reno. From one-stop-shop approaches and integrated energy advice to bio-based materials, innovative financing, material reuse, and SME training – AREC Reno is tackling whole-house retrofits in a truly ambitious and systemic way.
For us at ShiftUp, it’s exciting to build on our experience with heat pump aggregation schemes and now push toward scalable models for complete energy renovations with such engaged and forward-thinking partners.

Now we’re already looking forward to the next consortium meeting and the next milestones ahead.
